Eminem: Lose Yourself (clean version)

Appearing in his movie debut, “8 Mile”, Eminem provided this song as a quasi-biographical statement of his life and passion for getting out of the gritty life of inner city Detroit. The juxtaposition of pianos and synths in the opening section gives way to the riffing eight-beats from the guitar over strings and brass with firm bass drum and snare. Lyrics are cleanly articulated and delivered with a passion that evokes a personal connection with the message.
