Jonathan Pryce originated the role of The Engineer in London in 1989, then brought the role to Broadway, winning the Tony for Best Actor in a Musical in 1991. This performance (sans the make-up which made him look Eurasian) is from the 1998 gala performance concert “Hey Mr. Producer” which celebrated the work of Cameron McIntosh, legendary producer of London and Broadway musical theatre productions.
